Patricia Herrera comes to the NWREC2 with a background in Special Education and Educational Leadership.  Patricia taught all grade levels from Pre-K to Seniors in High School during her teaching career of 28 years.  Her focus was English Language Arts and TESOL at Middle and High School levels.  She was a building administrator for three years as a Dean of Students and a Principal at a Charter School.  Patricia has retired from teaching and administration but loves working with students, teachers, and schools of in her native Northern New Mexico region.  She strives to see students succeed and reach their full potential.  She has three children whom she adores, and the family enjoys raising sheep, their three goats and their three adorable dogs who are in-charge of the place.
